Taking place from Friday, 3rd April to Sunday, 5th April 2026, Easter at Einasleigh is more than just a long weekend; it’s a vital social hub for the cattle stations and families of the Savannah Way and beyond.
The 2026 Program: What’s On in Einasleigh
If you're heading west for the holidays, here is what you can look forward to at the Race Track and Rodeo Arena:
- Friday, 3rd April: The weekend kicks off at 8:30am with the Annual Fishing Competition on the banks of the Copperfield and Einasleigh Rivers. From 4:00pm, catch the thrills of the Jackpot Rodeo featuring Bull Rides and Barrel Races.
- Saturday, 4th April: It’s the social event of the year—the Einasleigh Picnic Races. Dust off your finest race wear for Fashions on the Field and enjoy a 5-race program starting at 12:30pm.
- Sunday, 5th April: The showstopper ABCRA Einasleigh Rodeo. Watch the athletic skill of local and professional competitors as they ride, rope, and catch their way to glory.
